Lose More Weight With Packaged Food, Says Study

According to news reports, new research suggests that people who eat a consistent diet of packaged food lose more weight than people who follow a traditional diet. In the study, participants either followed a typical diet where they are encouraged to make better food choices or the Medifast 5 & 1 Plan where they consumed calorie-restricted, packaged meals every day.   People on the more restrictive diet lost almost twice as much weight as people on the traditional diet.
