What causes BV?

The vagina are supposed to have lactobacilli (lactic acid bacteria). Lactobacilli is produce lactic acid. This is the reason why the vagina a little acidic, and this prohibits other bacteria from reproducing in it.On the other hand, a woman who has BV, have less lactobacilli, and denote that the vagina is not as acidic as it is supposed to be.
